There are multiple indications on the Aries Ingress chart of 2019 that Trump will not complete his presidential term in office this year. First: the tenth house cusp of the year is in Gemini, the sign of duplication, suggesting someone else will have the opportunity to step into his role. Second and third: Mercury, the significator of the President, is retrograde and under the Sun's beams. Fourth: Saturn, the Lord of Trump's Capricorn eighth house cusp associated with loss of power/loss of secrets, will reach that cusp before our 2019 Libra Ingress chart comes into play in late August. Fifth: the Sun, usually a significator of Presidential power, is setting. All this leads to the question of timing: when will Trump leave office and/or become utterly powerless in his role?
This is the question that was once forbidden to astrologers. In Tudor England, it amounted to treason to consider the stars predicting the death or demise of the monarch.
But we live in a country which has rejected monarchy and the lifelong power associated with it. It is no longer necessary to remove royalty from the throne by assassination. Rather, in the United States of America, our constitution ensures that one presidency will be succeeded by another in due course, so it is not forbidden for us to discuss the factors leading to the next change in presidency.
As troubling as our current phase of history is, we know it will eventually come to a close. But some worry that we are risking the continuation of our democracy by allowing it to decay from the inside. This represents a growing division in the Democratic party: those who favor countering Trump by electing a Democratic president in 2020, and those who favor countering him by impeachment before the constitution becomes moot under his corroding influence. This is the predicted dual nature of the Sagittarius fourth house of the 2019 Aries Ingress. House speaker Nancy Pelosi has come out in support of both camps: she states she is not in favor of impeachment "barring definitive proof of something compelling and overwhelming and bipartisan." Her position is that Trump "is not worth" the division of the nation an impeachment would cause otherwise.
As for the Republican party, the division predicted by the Gemini cusp of the Aries Ingress chart for 2019 evidently falls between those who support the Constitution first and uphold the separation of powers, and those whose loyalty is to Donald Trump personally.
The divided state of the nation is playing out to its extreme when Saturn retrograde reaches the cusp of Trump's eighth house of loss of power on June 17, 2019. Saturn reaching this degree indicates the end of Trump's presidency. Either he will resign, be indicted, be impeached, abscond from office, or otherwise lose presidential power to the point he is no longer a viable force in politics.
The answer to this question will give us a sneak peek into the end game of the Trump-versus-Justice struggle. You may wonder why we are "skipping ahead" to this point of the plotline. Simply, it is because knowing the end will help us more clearly interpret the effect of the planets' motions during the upcoming middle game. It's one of the advantages of studying astrology, so I say let's make use of it!
Here Ramesey describes the method of predicting dire events using the Ingress chart.
Look when the afflicting planet comes to the perfect conjunction, square or opposition of your significator, and at that time say the evil threatened will come to pass; or when the afflicting planet comes to the cusp of the house signifying any person or persons of whom you would judge, or to the place, i.e., degree and minute of the sign wherein the planet which is your significator is located, and say then the evil shall happen, unless the fortunate aspects of the benevolents thereunto at the same time prevent it; and if so, then also see what house that fortunate planet is lord of, and where located, and of what, significator, and judge the deliverance or prevention to proceed from the person, persons or things signified by the nature and signification of the planet, sign and house he is lord of, posited in, and is significator of, etc. but if the aforesaid conjunction, square or opposition be in an angle, then judge the evil portended to happen when your significator becomes combust of the Sun.
William Ramesey's Astrologia Munda, Book IV Section II Chapter I p. 38
To be brief, Ramesey says this question can be answered by timing Saturn's arrival on Trump's eighth house cusp at 18 Capricorn 45. Above is the chart for June 17, 2019 at 6:13 pm in Washington, DC. It's a little startling on first glance, but this is the culminating event of a political year beset by division, after all.
You will see several planets circled in the notes on the handwritten chart below. The following planets are in antiscion with one another, indicating covert activity. Sun is in antiscion with Moon. This means Congress has covert access to information originated by a spokesman of Trump, and/or vice versa. Venus is in antiscion with Mercury, meaning the President has access to covert information by way of his progeny or by way of a source within the nation's legal system, or vice versa. Saturn is in antiscion with the fourth house cusp. meaning the Democrats and Barr in the Department of Justice have access to covert information originating from Trump's secret-keepers. Because the cusps always oppose one another, Saturn is in contrantiscion to Trump, who is represented by the tenth house cusp. Saturn retrograde means his secret-keepers have turned against him. The contrantiscion means one of his secret-keepers is working against him on the level of a covert personal attack.
The hand-drawn chart above shows the progressed degrees of the traditional seven planets, superimposed on the Aries Ingress cusps. The significance of the chart is that these are the events that immediately lead to (separating aspects) and follow (applying aspects) the end of Trump's presidency. Below the aspects on the chart are listed in order of perfection. We note there are no supporting aspects for Mercury, as a conjunction with the malefic Mars is not considered beneficial. This means nothing will save Trump from the end of his presidency. For reference, Mercury is Trump; Jupiter is the Democratic party and Department of Justice; Moon is Congress or the Republican party; Sun signifies the spokesmen of the President, including Fox News; Mars signifies Trump's employees or strongmen, as well as the nation's news media; Venus signifies the nation's treasury, Trump's progeny , the nation's legal matters and Trump's self-destruction. We will discuss this end game in more detail as the time approaches. Our next post will focus on the middle game: April through early June.
